LAWP speaks at the ELITE Workshop: Governance and Board Design

We are proud to have participated as speakers at the workshop organised by ELITE, which took place at the Borsa Italiana headquarters in Piazza Affari, Milan, under the title:

“Governance and Board Design: from a formal role to a strategic driver”

Our Senior Partner Gabriele Di Nuzzo’s presentation analysed Board models that have proven effective at various stages of a company’s life cycle, including the particularly critical phases of generational transition and the opening of the share capital to third parties. It also addressed the principles underlying the identification of an appropriate balance between executive and non-executive directors, with the aim of providing the audience with useful guidance on the composition of a “well-balanced Board”, one that brings the right skills and dynamics to the table.

The workshop was designed for entrepreneurs, chairmen, directors and senior managers, and aimed to offer a practical and inspirational guide to understanding how a well-structured Board of Directors can generate lasting value for the benefit of the company.
